Hotel a Howard Lake

“We had a volleyball tournament and stayed just for the night. The hotel is older, but it was updated as much as possible and clean. Staff was very friendly, pool and hot tub were decent. There is an attached bar (we didn’t go) and gas, restaurants and coffee right across the street. It isn’t luxurious but was just fine for the night!! ”

“Clean room, friendly staff. Need more lighting by mirrors. Very dark in doorway too. When someone is using the bathroom/shower you lose most of the lighting. ”

“Hot tub was cold. Room was very musty. She Took forever to get checked in. Front desk person on his phone the entire time I was wanting help. My 13 year old felt very unsafe. ”

“This is a very older motel with I am sure with original furniture. The pillows on the bed very flat! The lamps questionable if you can turn them off or on and stay. Minimal outlets. No continental breakfast, there is coffee sometimes, the culligan style water bottle is room temperature in the lobby. Did not go into the pool area. Had to check to be the toilet so it was not continuous run. Did not need to use the shower in the room. I believe the upper level rooms are rented. The staff people...

“The hot tub was excellent, clean and relaxing. The pool was everything you would expect. Hotel was very clean and well kept/updated. Very nice hotel for a very cheap price!! Faye at the front desk was very helpful and kind.”

“No better place or people to be snowed in with!! The food is amazing, Hogan is a great server, bartender and found us a cribbage board to use, thanks to his Mom who also works there. Natalie made sure we had everything we needed. Can’t wait to get back there this summer! ”

“The room was filthy. I had to clean the toilet and make the bed. There was no power or heat and the TV did not work either. I am very disappointed that I wasted my money getting a room there. ”
